I have to say, Strolls start to life at Racing Point isn't exactly setting the pulse racing. He's not looked comfortable at all today so far. We'll see how he progresses, but if he's propping up the bottom of the time sheets again and his team mate is worrying the top 10, it won't look good.

I didnt get to follow this morning, what was the issue with the Haas that prevented them running for a long period?

Haas' issue seemed to be hydraulic again. Grosjean had an issue yesterday that caused the throttle to stick open too. So they have teething troubles, but when it's running the Haas runs well.

It’s always dangerous to read too much into lap times in testing, especially in the first week when teams are more focused on reliability and systems checks than chasing performance, and fuel loads and programmes are unknown. But even in these early stages, could trends be emerging? We crunched the numbers...

Way too early to say Forza, but like last year, Ferrari have made a very impressive start to winter testing. To the point that if I were forced to place my money anywhere it would be on them. However, that morning stint by Lewis with a science lab strapped to the back of his car was mighty, it really was.

Rumors circulating on twitter, perhaps stemming from seeing Williams scraping decals off the car. Kubica has lost his sponsor...

If true, well amazingly darker times ahead. Or, they are just putting some fresh logos on the car.

Those C2 (softer 2018 Mediums) sure held on.

Yeah... heard the same about Kubica losing his main sponsor... if so you could see him out of that car fairly quickly. Who would they put in the other Williams? Would they try and get Ocon? I'm really, really fearful for Williams.

Red flag, Gasly stuck it in the wall, something twitched at the rear of the car. Not a clever bit of driving if he's dropped it, but maybe something had already gone? Just a weird place to drop it.

Hmm... I think he might have just dropped it. Not clever.

Gasly kept his helmet on, which means only one thing, embarrassed, hehe. Only 1 hour left, so wont loose too much running, today anyway. Seemed quite an impact on the rear, so it could be a question of spares the team have brought.
