2018 United States GP

Stroll actually went off the track 3 times in 4 corners and then speared into Alonso coming back on the track. Were it not for his daddy he'd be lucky to get a drive for Uber.

Alonso, in his post race interview though, said something more measured as usual, like all drivers, while I enjoy hearing team radio, there's always a big difference from being in the heat of the moment,

As for my Britney comment, it wasn't to do with Sky versus, C4 coverage, Britney is playing in Austin tonight after the race, that's the entertainment if you're in Austin's main venue tonight. Smile

Kimi wins. I'm super happy for him, as I'm sure we all are : D
Championship goes on.
The neutral fans is super happy!
Suck on that Liberty! Love to know the budget they spent on the overly extravagant celebrations for the WDC to be won on US soil. All down the pisser, lol.

Did the lack of Friday contribute to the this been am entertaining race? Higher tyre pressure affected Merc more? Either way, it was some good evening entertainment.
Great to see the top 3 with such different strategies, varied thoughout the field.

I'm not one to weigh in on driver discussions, but it certainly wasn't good what happened to Vettel, purely because everyone is bashing him enough. It was more unfortunate than careless, its a low grip section of track, he gets a snap over oversteer that caused him to clash wheel to wheel with Danni, and the car just pirouetted. I do find it odd for him to always spin on contacts.

It is a shame that when the top 3 teams all have good race pace and are close at the front, it's only ever 1 of each team. Could of been insane should Danni and Seb been involved also.

Kimi driver of the day for me, though several of contenders, Max, Lewis, hell even Seb for his controlled fight back and dying laps overtake on Bottas.

Regrettably I didnt pay much attention to the 2nd tier, was gaming while watching. Good to see Renault have a strong result. Sainz penalty for running wide T1 was a sodding joke, I expect nothing less from the stewards however.
Ocon with potential fuel usage breach, could be DSQ'd.

My previous sig was obsolete, McLaren ain't disappointing Heshy no more.

Fog, you've got me wrong, I'm relaxed(ish)

My suggestion, all teams have a third car which has nothing to do with the main event,

LOL, bud, glad to see you in relaxed mode, but 3 car teams have been covered, and it just doesn't work, for anyone without the budget of teams like Ferrari and Merc, hell, they're already swallowing up the rest of the field as B teams, I'd prefer they did a RBR type, model.

That said, those are more complicated arguments, it was a great race though, roll on Mexico Smile

I love the American air flyover during the anthem. Its not the first time choppi's have been used. I enjoy, but would prefer a squadron of A-10's, or a B2 escorted by F-16's or F/A 18's!

There is a hell of a lot of bashing for the guy , kicking a man when he is down is not for me personally bit like Lewis in 2011 he took serious flack for his driving, different times of their careers for sure, but i've said sooo many times and its a bit like football or any sport for that matter, that when confidence is high it rolls with you, when its not going for you its hard to catch a break,

Ummm...., really not sure about a dummy? From where I was watching Merc told Lewis "do whatever Kimi doesn't". He did just that (and it didn't come off for the race win on this occasion) so in fairness "a team call". Merc won't be too downhearted today, both championships are pretty close to being "in the bag". What's that then if they do land it in Mexico, 5 in a row isn't it? Very, very impressive.

Valterri as been a bit disappointing for me since the summer break. He's always a long way behind on a Sunday. I think Ocon may well be in that seat next year.

It wasn't the most convincing of dummies, but kimi did jink towards the pits. Surprised we've not seen it more, maybe because Lewis was actually quite close behind him with the VSC, which was just mental to see the timings. I think FER and MERC had different delta transponders, Lewis was right behind Kimi at multiple points, closing the gap by 1s, then stretching it back out again.

Magnussen fuel breach under investigation also.
