2018 Russian GP

Haha, I wouldn't put it your poetic way Lotus but I would also like to see Renault fighting for wins.  Wink

I miss the name Lotus in F1.   Cool

I would also like the white one that swims in the Bond films.     Love

Mercedes have also confirmed it was his second PU that was used in Singapore and Russia, so not his PU3. The swine still has PU1 in rotation for FP1 and FP2 sessions as well. Something Ferrari and Seb don't have anymore. I thought that maybe it might be a glimmer of a problem for Lewis. But if it is his second PU, which they confirmed, then really, it has now done it's races:

France,
Silverstone,
Austria,
Germany,
Hungary,
Singapore,
Russia,

So it has done it's 7 races. they probably don't want it to go kaput, as I'm sure they'd rather keep it available if they can, and in rotation for FP sessions, but given his first PU is still going strong even if they did lose it I don't think it'd be such a massive blow for them.

It was right on the limit in my book, I think the stewards made the right call. That said I wish Hamilton would not make statements like this it implies a unfairness that I in myself do not believe exists. That said I would go so far as to say the leading drivers are probably cut a little more slack than the others which I guess goes against my previous statement but you get my drift!
